A common question from customers is "Why do your flower arrangements stay nicer and produce blooms longer than the general greenhouse arrangements?" Answer: Much attention is given to using the flowering plants natural powers. A common process in the greenhouse industry is using growth retardant to hold plants back and release them at the desired time so flowers are in full bloom when the peak of the season hits. The plant reacts to this and gives a large burst of growth after it is "released". The effect of this is a beautiful plant at its peak, but quickly degenerates and becomes rather straggly looking. At Vintage Lane Greenhouse this process is NOT used. They have chosen rather to use the "hand cutting method". This process is time consuming and includes careful watering and much hand work, such as cutting flowers back, which increases the bloom population at the desired time. This also enhances the plants growth and creates a much longer lasting flower arrangement.
The Vintage Lane Greenhouse personal are very friendly and customer service is very important! A delivery service is available as well as flower placement consultation. Contact Verna today and make an appointment for a consultation.
